Clifton Harlan Lee, age 62, passed away on December 28, 2016, at Lone Grove, Okla. Graveside services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore Okla. with Reverend Sharen Hale to officiate.
Harlan was born on December 2, 1954 in Ardmore, Okla. to Clifford Jesse Lee and Jean Delores (Bell) Lee. Harlan was a graduate of Ardmore High School Class of 1973 and went on to attend Oklahoma Baptist University working on a degree in music. Music consumed Harlan’s life. He was able to play most any instrument and he loved playing his guitar. He worked at Peaches Music Store in Norman, Okla., and gave guitar lessons. Harlan and Joe Peach were owners in a Bluegrass Sound Company. He also worked alongside his father as a mechanic in their shop. At one time, Harlan worked as a carpenter around the county. Harlan was an avid reader and read to increase his thirst for knowledge. He loved to read mathematics and music theory books. He loved his animals and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. Harlan was looking forward to his first grandson who is expected in May.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Jesse Lee.
Harlan is survived by his mother, Jean Lee, of Ardmore, Okla., son, Morgan Lee and wife Jenna, daughter, Hillary Lee, both of Lone Grove, Okla., grandchildren; Mikayla, Gabriella and soon to come, Jesse in May of 2017, all of Lone Grove, Okla. Nine brothers and sisters; LaJuana Carter, and husband, Butch of Lone Grove, Okla., Bradley Lee, and wife Shaun, of Edmond, Okla., Michael Lee, of Edmond, Okla., Karrie Lee, of Ardmore, Okla., Travis Lee, of Ardmore, Okla., Angie McMillan, and husband Alan, of Edmond, Okla., Lorrie Harper, and husband, Ron of Ardmore, Okla., Katrina Lee-Doggett, and husband Kevin, of Bartlesville, Okla., and Julie Lee, of Edmond, Okla.
Pallbearers will be his son, Morgan Lee, and; Buster Holybee, Kelly Bryant, Keenan Bryant, Christopher Bryant and Kyle Harper.
