Obituary of Barbara Ann West

Barbara Ann West, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 15, 2017, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Kevin Russel and Pastor Donny Custer officiating.

Barbara was born on April 20, 1957, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Fredrick Nalley and Dolores (Bryon) Nalley. She attended and graduated from Riverdale High School in Oradell, New Jersey. She began working at nursing homes and earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Barbara moved to Ardmore in 1987 and continued her career of caring for the elderly as a CNA at Woodview Nursing Home. She married David Lloyd West on Sept. 19, 2003, at Gainesville, Texas. She loved crafting, sewing, and photography. She was very involved with her Sunday School Adult 2 Class at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband David, and one brother, Bryon Nalley.

Barbara is survived by her son, Nathen McClure, of Ardmore, one granddaughter, and three Aunts; Gloria DeLuca of Hudson, Florida, Joyce Maranzano of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Pat Rybicki of Marmora, New Jersey.
