Obituary of Charlene Nall

Charlene E. Nall, age 85, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, December 8, 2017, at The Chapel in Griffin~Hillcrest with Pastor Nathan Gauwitz officiating. Services will conclude in The Chapel with private interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla.

Charlene was born on December 28, 1931, to Charlie L. Nall and Birdie (White) Nall in Ardmore, Okla. She lived in Ardmore all her life. She worked as a bookkeeper at the local Chevrolet dealership. She attended Light House Assembly of God and later Bethel Assembly of God Church where she served as the church secretary and on many committees that arranged for the care of shut-ins and funeral dinners. She was a dedicated church volunteer, bringing food and aid to those in need. Charlene was a breast cancer survivor and would walk at the local cancer research walk. She will be remembered for her giving heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, CL Nall, Jr.

Charlene is survived by her four nieces: Reba Gatewood, Jowana Johnston, Darla Boydston, all of Florida, and Brenda O’Neill of Dickson, Okla.
