Obituary of William Darrell Stanton

William Darrell Stanton passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 32, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Provence Cemetery, Dickson, Okla., on Monday, June, 25, 2018, with Pastor Mike Apala officiating.

Billy was born on February 4, 1986, at Ardmore to Cheryl Marie Rangel and Alejandro Garcia. He attended and graduated from Ardmore High School in the Class of 2006. He was an artist and loved spending his time drawing and writing poetry. He enjoyed his time outdoors, fishing at the river and riding four-wheelers. He will be remembered as a loving father who cared greatly for his four children.

Billy is preceded in death by his brother Julio Garcia, maternal grandparents: William Stanton and Erma (Fletcher) Stanton, and paternal grandfather, Agapo Garcia.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Marie Rangel, father, Alejandro Garcia and his wife, Benita, who was like Billy’s second mother, four children: sons: Ke’lahn Stanton and Julious Stanton, and daughters:  Riley Paige Davoult and Ma’ Lazyia R. Fuller. Siblings: brothers: Justino Garcia and wife, Alix, and Temo Garcia, sisters: Lucia Walton and husband, DeAllen, Alejandra Garcia and companion, Brannon Ramsey, Sofia Garcia and companion, Cameron Bruner, Flora Garcia, and Monica Garcia. Aunt, LeAnn Rivera and husband, Juan, nephews: Bubba Garcia, Peewee Garcia, and Justin A. Garcia and Daesyn Walton and nieces: Taylor L. Garcia, Amelia E. Walton and Kamilla Walton.

Pallbearers will be Lee Powell, Johnny Blaylock, Georgie Garcia, Carlos Chiffer, Derick Postoak, and Eder Arriaga
