Obituary of Paul Daniel Gardner

Paul Daniel Gardner, age 50, passed away on July 10, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 16, 2018, in McAlister Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Pettigrew officiating.    

 

Paul was born on June 29, 1968, in Ardmore, Okla. to Daniel Lee Gardner and Myrna Lou (LaFontain) Gardner. He attended and graduated from Marietta High School Class of 1988. After graduation he moved to Dallas to be with family. For a short time he worked at Wyatt’s Cafeteria and then later as a short order cook. He always loved playing basketball and listening to country music.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Gladys Yearby Baptiste.

 

Paul is survived by sister, Dana Johnson and husband, Jon of Midlothian, TX, brother, Corey Gardner of Dallas, TX, two half sisters; Leah Penttila and Sharon Cutting, both of Naselle, WA., one half brother; Anthony Hughes of Vancouver, WA., his best friend, Al Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

 

Pallbearers will be Brandon Pettigrew, Joe Pettigrew, JR Pettigrew, Terry Ingram, Robert Ingram Jr. and Darrell Brokeshoulder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mitchell Ingram and Dustin Brokeshoulder

 

Wake services will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest.
