I got to reconnect with Murray and Mary when they moved back to Ardmore many years ago. My mother and Mary were friends when I was a child, and bowled together on a team for Continental Oil Company. I enjoyed both of them so much, and they always had childhood memories I enjoyed hearing. Murray became one of my favorite customers at the tag office, and I always looked forward to his visits. After his accident, I sometimes stopped by his house to pick up his tags or help him with titles, and he shared his beautiful wood working skills with me. What a wonderful man. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren, and often shared stories of both with me. The past few years he was not able to come in the office when Ola Mae would come to buy his tags, but we would visit at his car if he had made the trip with her. I will miss him very much, and always admired him and the way he looked at life after his accident. My prayers are with you all in this difficult time. I will always remember what a wonderful man your father and grandfather was. May God Bless you all.

I was honored to have met and known Mr Murray Goforth through his daughter Marsha. Didn't know him for too many years but I certainly enjoyed him. Enjoyed visiting with him and listening to some of his stories and memories. He was a fine Christian man and good friend to many. Rest In Peace.
Much love to all his family and friends.

We were honored to be considered friends and family of Murray. Such an honorable and true Christian example. It was touching to see the love he had for his grandchildren and great- grandchildren! A life well lived! Murray finished his race with top honors...entering the Kingdom of God! He will be missed!!

Papa Wheelie is home walking and dancing with Grammy and embracing Jesus. I praise God for Heaven being PaPa’s home, our home and we are just passing through this world...see you soon Papa. Love you. Thank you Holy Spirit for all the comfort and peace you have brought our family these last couple of weeks, the comfort of today, and knowing the peace that is still to come. It has been one beautiful week with our PaPa and family. God has no doubt brought peace to us knowing where our PaPa is right now- HEAVEN. Praise Jesus!!! God is good ALL the time, and all the time God is good.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
