Obituary of Dening Mechelle Reid

Dening Mechelle Reid, age 44, passed away on May 30, 2019, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Marilyn Gunsolus officiating.

Mechelle was born on May 26, 1975, in Ardmore, Okla., to Don Eades and Linda Lee (Sanderford) Eades. She attended Ardmore Schools. She was a Homemaker for most of her life. Mechelle married her love Rick Reid on Nov. 14, 2009, in Ardmore, Okla. She spent most of her time going shopping with her best friend, Flo Brown. The fulfillment of her life was to help the elderly get around town to pay bills, run errands, and to do charity work as a volunteer.  She enjoyed attending the First Baptist Church and worshiping The Lord.  Mechelle will be dearly missed by her family and friends that love her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lee and sister, Melissa Hunter.

Mechelle is survived by her husband, Ricky Reid, father, Don Eades, son, Arlen Eades daughter, Letilla Eades, three grandchildren, Holly Eades, Martina Eades and Max Eades, two sisters, Judy Eades and Jodie Case and one brother, Nolan Eades.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Eades, Donald Eades, James Lee, Emmanuel Foster, Arlen Eades and Ro Gardner. Honorary Bearers will be Jimmy Foster and Payton Spickler.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
