Obituary of Justus A. Knight

Justus A. Knight, age 17, passed away on October 6, 2019, in Tatums, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 14, 2019 at Jehovah Baptist Church in Milo, Okla., with interment to follow in Jehovah Cemetery.  

Justus was born in Ardmore, Okla., on July 18, 2002, to Anthony Knight, Sr. and Colesta Carr. He attended Ardmore Schools until 2016 and moved to Fox Schools where he was a junior at this time. He enjoyed participating in track and field, weight lifting and FFA. He loved to fish and listening to music. He exceeded at art and was considered an excellent artist. Justus enjoyed entertaining his friends and would often show off his skills doing flips.

He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Knight, Sr., grandfathers and his paternal grandmother.

Justus is survived by his aunt and guardians, Marla Hurley and husband, Warren, his mother, Colesta Hutchens, grandmother, Colesta Carr, brothers, Anthony Knight, Jr., Christopher Knight and Kaleb Hurley,  sisters, Monique President, Monika Roberts, MyaShandria Knight and Makala Hurley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zack Rawls, Maggie Stapleton, Cymetrik Williams, Jaquawen Williams, Kelly Merrick, Brookelyn Shugart, Chaveryon Hooks and Jeranda Watts.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
