Eddie Lee Epley, age 81, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Benbrook, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 5, 2016, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla.
Eddie was born on January 31, 1935, to Ottie Epley and Eunice (Massey) Epley, at McMan, Okla. He graduated from Dundee High School and then went to Oklahoma State University. He married Joyce Haragan on July 10, 1954. Eddie enjoyed golfing, country western dancing, hunting, water skiing, and softball. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma State University football fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers and sisters; Vella, Almeda, Maurice, Jack, Katherine, and Anna Ruth.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Joyce Epley, daughter, Debra Foster, and husband, David, son, Michael Epley, and wife, Sheila, brother, Johnny Epley, sister-in-law, Bobbie Epley, and brother-in-law, Bill Haragan. Four grandchildren: Cody Hodge, Kristen Welsh, Brittany Epley, and Ryan Epley, and three great-grandchildren: Catherine Hodge, Caleb Hodge, and Connor Welsh.
