Obituary of Charla Dianne (Hickman) Hill

Charla Dianne (Hickman) Hill, age 42, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, Oklahoma City, Okla. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Rose Hill Cemetery with The Reverend Steve Skinner officiating. Charla was born in Talihina, Okla. on December 6, 1978, to Harold George Hickman and Karen Yvonne (Taylor) Hickman. She attended Ardmore Schools. She then worked as a housekeeper at Days Inn Hotel. Charla married David Hill in 2005 at the First Indian Baptist Church in Ardmore. She worked at Michelin for a time but retired to go work in housekeeping at Motel 6. She loved her grandchildren and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and aunt, Cynthia Thompson and Grandmother Vallie Taylor. Charla is survived by her husband, David Hill, six children, Dakota Hickman, Matthew Hickman, Christopher Hickman, Shawn Hickman, Daelyn Hickman and Sierra Hickman, all of Ardmore, step-son, David Wayne Hill. Jr., five grandchildren, Allison Hickman, Abigial Hickman, Ryan Hickman, Korbin Hickman, and Malachai Hickman. Brother, Timothy Hickman, uncle, Larry Taylor, cousins, Shelly Clayton and Chad Clayton and special friend, Dominique Collins. Serving as pallbearers will be her children. Honorary bearers will be Timothy Hickman, Jajuan Clayton, and David Wayne Hill Jr. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, February 15, 2021 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
