Obituary of Patricia Ann Moss

Patricia Ann Moss, age 76, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest. Pastor Johnny Green will officiate. Pat was born on February 27, 1940, to Thomas Preston Moss and Opal (Vance) Moss at Ardmore, Okla. She married Arnold Stone in 1959 in California. She gave birth to two children, Larry and Barry Stone, and moved from San Francisco to Tulsa. She had two more children, Gary and Teresa Stone, and moved to Nederland, Texas, where the family lived for 14 years. In 1983, she and Arnold Stone divorced. Pat and the children moved to Ardmore to care for her elderly mother. Pat went to work at Mercy Memorial as an X-Ray Transporter and worked until she had health complications. She worked at the Executive Inn Hotel as a receptionist, Walls Bargain Center, and in the home health industry while she continued taking care of her mother, Opal, and aunt, Pearl. Pat married Donald Mason in 1990, and they were married for two years. She attended Bethel Community Church and was a prayer warrior. In 2014 Pat moved her membership to Victory Life Church of Ardmore. She loved to cook for dinners at her church and working with people. Pat liked to fish and crochet when time permitted. Her greatest passion in life was to love. As an ordained minister, Pat’s main objective in life was to personify Christ to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Opal Moss, sons, Larry Stone and Gary Stone, brother, Gerald Ray Moss, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Stone. Pat is survived by her daughter, Teresa Stone, son, Barry Stone, and brother, Thomas Wayne Moss, and wife, Lynda, and sister-in-law, Terri Moss, all of Ardmore, Okla.
