Linda M. Moore, age 64, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at her home in Ferris, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 20, 2021 in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Black officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Linda was born on October 1, 1956, to Gerald Galbreath and Yukiko (Morita) Galbreath, in Ft. Polk, Louisiana. She attended and graduated from Andress High School in El Paso, Texas. Linda went on to attend The Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas and earned her bachelor degree in nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at Parkland hospital for many years and retired in 2020. In her retirement she loved to sew. Linda was a member of The First Baptist Church and was a part of the woman’s ministry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Galbreath, mother, Yukiko Morita and adoptive parents, Frank and Esther Washington.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bruce Moore, brother, Gary Galbreath and sister, Geraldine Galbreath.
