Obituary of Charles Ervin, Jr.

Charles Gary Ervin Jr., age 51, God called him home on February 3, 2022, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest with The Reverend Abraham Walton officiating. Interment to follow at Five Mile Cemetery, Hennepin, Okla. Charles, lovingly known as Junior, June blade and Chuck, was born on March 11, 1970 in Danville, IL. to Charles Gary Ervin and Loretta Allen. He attended and graduated from Davis High School. He will be remembered as a loving and caring person who enjoyed fishing, traveling and helping others. He was preceded in death by his parents, and uncle, Billy Ray Ervin, who was like a second father to him. Charles leaves to mourn his passing, his aunt, Sequita Ervin, cousin, Tashilah Wilson of the home, Shayna Ervin, of Wichita, KS., brother, Leroy Ervin, aunt, Kattie Smith of Oklahoma City, cousin, Tanya Revels, of Lone Grove, Okla. and the entire Gordon family and a host of relatives and friends. Serving as casket bearers will be Montre Washington, Robert Gordon, Mark Gordon, Morlan Gordon, Earl Ervin, and Alvin Ervin. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
