Obituary of Patti Grayham

Patti Grayham, age 66, passed away on July 12, 2022, in Ardmore, Okla. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, July 18, 2022, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home with her son-in-law, Brent Simmons Officiating. Patti was born on November 10, 1955, to Donald Samuel Grayham and Dorothy Esther Wall-Grayham. She was always proud of her heritage as a Mississippi Choctaw. She attended and graduated from Dickson Schools in 1974. She took a job with UPS and worked there until her retirement in September of 2011. Patti had been working part time for Southern Loan and then took a full-time job there until her illness forced her to retire in December of 2021. Patti had a giving soul; she would spend hours putting together care packages for the homeless and giving them to the Salvation Army and the Catholic Thrift Shop for distribution. Her love for her grandchildren was great and she loved spending anytime she could with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gary Grayham and Jim Grayham. Patti is survived by her husband, Fred Martin II, two daughters, Dawnthia Martin and Samantha Simmons and husband, Brent, son, Fred (Tre’) Martin III and wife, Melissa, grandchildren; Tre’ Martin, Alizah Martin, Lucas Carey, Graham Simmons, and Logan Simmons and one aunt, Choc Wall.
