Wanda "Jean" Lynn passed away on September 7, 2022, in her daughter's home in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by family and loved ones. She will forever be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with lunch and fellowship to follow at Jean's favorite catfish restaurant.
Jean was born on November 25, 1938, at home in Durwood, Okla., to Luke and Ruby Turner. On November 30, 1956, Jean married her childhood sweetheart, Billy Lynn. Together they experienced life's joys and challenges for over 64 years until he passed in 2021. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing the night away together, and camping at nearby lakes. A long-time resident of Ardmore, Jean graduated from Dickson High School and shortly thereafter, began working at Texoma Office Supply where she was a dedicated employee for over 30 years. Jean loved her family dearly, enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was known for her devotion to her family and friends, her "green thumb" and beautiful quilts.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lynn, daughter, Debra "Debbie" Lynn McClendon, brother, Richard Turner, and parents, Luke and Ruby Turner.
She was survived by her son, Robert Lynn of Ardmore, Okla., daughter, Kimberly Leondar of Fort Worth, Texas, and grandchildren, Andrew Leondar, Jesse Lynn, and Marissa Sauble.
