Obituary of Doreen Ferrell Watson

Doreen Ferrell Watson, age 86, passed away on March 15, 2016, at Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Rose Hill Cemetery. Doreen was born on May 13, 1929, to Joe C. Watson and Alta Rosale (Jeffery) Watson. Doreen went on to be a graduate of Ardmore High School class of 1946. In December 31, 1946 she married Dewey Cleve Labeth. From this marriage came her two children, Jodie Cleve Labeth and Cindy Lou Labeth. This marriage ended in 1969. Doreen took a position with Humpty Foods where she worked for 10 years. She went on to work for Stromberg- Carlson working on NASA contracts. She married Eddie Dewberry on March 5, 1970 in Gainesville TX. They owned and operated Conoco NE Service Station for 17 years. During that time she also would work mornings for the town of Dickson, OK as the town clerk. This marriage ended. Doreen took a position with the Salvation Army as bookkeeper and office manager until she retired at the age of 79. She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson Okla. where she volunteered her time doing bookkeeping for the church. In her youth she loved to square dance. Doreen was known for her sewing and making dresses for her daughter and granddaughter. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, and one son Jodie Cleve Labeth. She is survived by one Daughter, Cindy Lou Muse and granddaughter Crystal Muse of the home. Grand children, Kevin Labeth of Blanchard, Okla., Shane Labeth of Oklahoma City, Okla., Tammy Labeth Shay of Oklahoma City, Okla. and nine Great Grandchildren.
