Obituary of Jennifer Perry - White

Jennifer Perry-White, age 60, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Lone Grove, Okla.A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with the Reverend Ricky McGee officiating. Cremation under the care of Griffin ~ Hillcrest Crematory. Jennifer was born June 29, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Glenn Perry and Jeanet (Larkins) Perry. She attended Putnam City West before her family moved to Lone Grove where she later graduated from High School. Jennifer went on to attend college at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, receiving a master’s degree in counseling and special education. One of Jennifer’s proudest moments was completing the requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2014. She has touched countless lives by counseling others at Oak Tree Counseling Agency, Southeastern Oklahoma Family Services, and The Jetty Counseling Center. Jennifer had an impeccable work ethic and the ability to reach others where they were in their lives. Jennifer always went the extra mile by driving all over Southern Oklahoma, working late, and even having sessions on weekend if needed. Jennifer met the love of her life, Ronald White in 1985, and later married him in Gainesville, Texas in 1990. Jennifer always bragged about how her husband took care of her and would cook her a special meal every night when she got home from work. Jennifer loved being a wife but also a mother to her son that she would fondly call Little Ron Jennifer loved to go fishing with her husband any time she could. She was a great softball player and was known for her strong arm and could always get the ball where it needed to go. She was spunky and was known for not taking any guff off anyone. She was an avid cook and will be remembered for the meals she put on the table. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanet Barkdull and father, Glenn Perry. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Ronald White and one son, Ronald Dexter White
