Obituary of Rhonda Carol Ned

Rhonda Carol Ned, age 74, passed away on July 23, 2023, in Mannsville, Okla. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Rollins Cemetery, Mannsville, Okla. with The Reverend Mond Davis officiating.
Rhonda was born in Valliant, Okla. on December 9, 1948, to Charles Humphrey and Willie (Monroe) Humphrey. Her family moved around from state to state following her father’s career. Her family settled in Dickson, Okla., where she graduated from Dickson High School. Rhonda Married Calvin Ned on July of 1968 in Ardmore, Okla. She was a homemaker until her children were school age. She then started her career as a waitress at the “Chuck Wagon” Restaurant and then taking a position at the Seven Day Adventist Hospital in housekeeping. Rhonda then went back to waitressing and worked at “Prairie Kitchen” and retired from “Bill and Barb’s”. Rhonda enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She was dedicated to family and spent most of her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, giving them her love and care.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Ned, and grandson, Justin Ned.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Ned, and wife, Jody, daughter, Elizabeth Ross, and husband, Rodney, five grandchildren; Kimberly Davis, Heather Rhynes, Chanler Ned, Chelsie Ned, and Rodney Ross, Jr., half-brother, Fred Humphrey, and twelve great-grandchildren; Ara, Audrey, Jaxon, Calvin, Kaylor, Aspyn, Karson, Navi, Reason, Liam, Zarian, and Addison.
Those serving as pallbearers will be; Brian Ned, Michael Ned, Kenny Ned, Dustin Sampson, JD Douglas, and CJ “Whiteboy” Dawson. Honorary pallbearers will be; Gaylon Rhynes II, Derrick Davis, Rodney Ross, Jr., Curtis Ned and Harold Ned.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest.
