Jeannie, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Gilbert. We are about 8 months apart in age. I remember when we were kids singing with my cousin Shirley, Uncle Carl's daughter. We had some good times. I was about a year old and Gilbert not much older when Grandma and Grandpa moved to California . The ones that stayed in Missouri were Mother ,Elsie, Aunt Rosie, Uncle Dana and Uncle Carl. They were the oldest and had started their lives here. They took Uncle Hugh, Uncle Ernie, Uncle Dale, Uncle Delbert and Uncle Gilbert with them.
This is why I am have sooooo many relatives in California. I have met my cousins and a few 2nd but I have a lot of 3rd cousins out there. I would love to meet and see them all. So far away. So nice to have FB. I can keep up some with them and know what they are doing.
