Obituary of Robert Pletcher

Robert Pletcher, born on January 29, 1953, in Modesto, California, passed away at the age of 71 on August 26, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Known for being the head ass at the mule barn. He had great sense of humor and kindness, Robert had a love for Brenda, his Dog Cloe and His Daddy like no other. He never met a stranger and would talk to anybody. He touched the lives of many with his warm spirit.
Robert spent his professional life as a dedicated heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He worked for many years with Craig Belt at Belt Construction, driving and hauling dirt, and also drove for Dolese Bros. Co. for over a decade. He wanted to mention colleagues at Belt Construction for their Kind friendship. And a special Friend Danny Hammer
Outside of work, Robert had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. He was a horse rider, golfer, and football fan. His love for two-stepping was well-known as he never missed a chance to dance. He loved watching western films starring John Wayne. Robert also enjoyed attending auctions and sales always on the lookout for hidden treasures.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Davis, Son Robert Keith and his wife Susan, Son KJ Pletcher. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law/Big Brother Loran Hacker, Nephew Chris Hacker, Nephew Matt Hacker and his sisters, Tammie Adams, Sandy Mott, Step-Daughter, Ashley Brodersen her husband Garrett and Step-Daughter JuJu Davis. Many grandkids and great grandkids including Joni, Cassie, Breckin, Braelynn, Kollin, Kason, Kayden, Jackson, Blakely, Axel, Massey, and Zoey.
He was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Hacker, and his parents, Bertha and Buck Pletcher.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Griffin~Hillcrest in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, September 4th, at 2pm at McAlister Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Serving as pallbearer's will be Robert Keith Pletcher, KJ Pletcher, Loran Hacker, Chris Hacker, Matt Hacker, and Garrett Brodersen.
