Obituary of Ronnie Allen Clough

Ronnie Allen Clough, age 78, passed away on August 29, 2024, at his residence in Thackerville, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in The Chapel at Griffin ~ Hillcrest with Pastor Donny Custar officiating. Ronnie was born in Marietta, Okla. on January 16, 1946, to Lloyd Clough and Beatrice (Hughes) Clough. He attended and graduated from Marietta Schools with the class of 1965. He enlisted in the United States Navy on July 7, 1965, until he received his Honorable Discharge. Ronnie married Nita Clough and from that marriage came two children, Misti, and Bo. That marriage then ended and he married Judy Lynn Shockley on January 22, 1972, at Ardmore, Okla. Their marriage brought two daughters, Shelly, and Shannon. Ronnie worked for Enderby Gas Inc. and Red River Propane for fifty years in all aspects of the job including driving trucks, servicing department, and working in the office. Ronnie was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle fan; he loved working on them and collecting them. Ronnie was a big Elvis Fan. Ronnie loved his quiet time setting on the back porch and drinking his coffee. He loved spending time with his family any chance he got. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Judy Lynn Clough, daughter, Shannon Oleta (Clough) Clinton, and son, Bo Clough. Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Shelly Blanton, and husband, Harry Jr., of Ardmore, Okla. and Misti Kirk of Marietta. Grandchildren: Emery Blanton, Alyssa Clough, Bryar Blanton and wife Katelyn, Casie Acosta, Sebastian Acosta, Malory Blanton, Brad Kirk, Tucker Kirk, Jaden Clough, Mason Clough, Bailey Clough, Hunter Clough, Staci Bevill, and Neeley Clough. Great-grandchildren: Kaisyn Wood, Haiston Hazen, Kreed Hazen, Paislee Sands, Aubree Bolding, Zeppelin Blanton, and Holly Blanton.
