William Dean Kluver, age 95 left his earthly home on December 24th in Ardmore, OK
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore, Okla.
Bill was born on April 3, 1929, to his parents Henry and Mary Kluver in Hinton, OK. He grew up in Hinton on a farm.
He married Emma Berdine Wells in December of 1950 and together they had five children. Henry (Hank), Brenda, Gary, Leslie (Les) and Curtis (Curt).
Bill and Berdine moved to California in the early 50's. For most of their years they lived in San Jose where he worked in construction as a Nailer. He had his own business, H&W Nailing. When he turned 50, he had an unfortunate accident and broke his back while on the job. Afterwards he decided it was time to move to Ardmore, OK where he learned a new trade, Heat & Air Conditioning, he was also a handy man with many things. He worked hard until finally retiring at age 83. Bill was always a very hard worker; he wasn't one to give up or complain. He was kind and loving and we will all miss him greatly.
Bill enjoyed playing cards and dominos. His passion was with dominos, hardly anyone could beat him. He also enjoyed reading nonfiction.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, along with seven siblings, Anna, Zoma, Mildred, Orval, Oren, Guy and Betty. Also, his beloved wife, Berdine and two sons Gary, and Curtis.
He is survived by his son Henry and his wife Sue, daughter Brenda her husband Jack, and son Les. As well as grandchildren, Robert, Becky and Greg and great grandchildren, Bailey, Anthony, Zoey, Tommy, Tyler, and Penelope.
