Georgeina Fay Brown, age 98, passed away on January 2, 2025, in Ardmore, Okla. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 10, 2025 at Crinerville Cemetery, Criner Hills, Okla. with Pastor Deven Johnston officiating. Georgeina was born in Hennepin, Okla. on April 26, 1926, to George Albert Jacks Jr. and Agnes (Frenchman) Jacks. She attended Chilocco Indian School in Newkirk, Okla. She married Carl Gene Brown on March 2, 1946, in Gainesville, Texas. They moved to Manteca, CA. where she became a homemaker and was devoted to her children. After Carl retired, the couple moved back to Ardmore in the early 90’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl Brown, son, Bedford Carl Brown, and brother, Bob Jacks. Georgeina is survived by son, Ronald Wayne Brown of Ardmore, Okla. Seven grandchildren; Taryn and Brent of Ardmore, Justin, of Santa Cruz, California, Nicholas “Nikki” and Tiffany of Battle Creek, Michigan, Christy of South Carolina, Jeremy of Oklahoma City, Okla. Great-granddaughter, Keelin plus four more great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Cricket Brown of Battle Creek, Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.
