Q: How did you meet Pat?
A: I was able to meet my Choctaw relatives when we started having the Brokeshoulder reunions. It was wonderful to meet everyone and Pat was so welcoming, friendly and fun! I am attaching a picture from the 2019 reunion when Pat and others shared about the Choctaw culture and wore their colorful regalia. Our reunions were postponed during Covid but in 2022, we gathered again in Shawnee. Pat did not want to miss the reunion and needed a ride though. My cousin Shelly picked her up and I took her home. Now I feel lucky that I was it was able to spend more time with her. Pat will be so missed by her Oregon relatives. I wish her continued happiness in the spirit world. Much love to her family, Karen
